is an award-winning industrial engineer and strategic operations executive with over 12 years of leadership in the UAE and Saudi Arabia’s event and exhibition sector . His track record spans mega-events (Expo 2020 Dubai, World Defense Show, LEAP, Cityscape Global) and specialized exhibitions (Saudi Falcons Club auctions, hunting expos), where he has driven high- quality delivery, innovation, and stakeholder impact. He holds a MBA and a B.A.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, with certifications in leadership and project management . Abdulkareem combines data-driven problem-solving with creative flair to optimize processes using AI and modern tools .
It wasn’t long before Kamal transitioned into product and fashion photography, securing a part-time role at one of Dubai’s top e-commerce studios. There, he shot for high-end brands under the Majid Al Futtaim group, as well as for R&B, Brands For Less, Amazon, and more—establishing a reputation for delivering premium-quality imagery at scale.
Abdulkareem’s career journey spans from on-the-ground operations to executive leadership in high-stakes event delivery. He began as a Production Manager at Expo 2020 Dubai, overseeing technical and rehearsal spaces for one of the world’s largest expos . He later managed specialized projects (e.g. Arab Radio & TV Festival, UAE national parades, Abu Dhabi cultural events) before transitioning to construction and exhibition roles. In 2023 he served as Project Manager at Alfares International Tents & Construction, leading marquee and tent construction projects across the Gulf. By 2024 he was appointed Acting CEO and then Business Operations Manager at Gulf-based event firms (Modern Option, PRO4 Total Event Solutions), driving transformation, AI-driven workflows, and strategic growth initiatives .
Abdulkareem’s vision is to fuse innovation and efficiency. He aligns every project with forward- looking goals like Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 , believing that “great projects can only be accomplished by combining vision with determination” . He champions AI and data analytics to optimize operations – for example, pioneering a GPT-based cost-estimation tool for KSA construction markets . His approach is entrepreneurial: instilling agile processes and creative problem-solving to deliver ambitious events on time and under budget.
